Step 1: Plug in the Machine

Step 2:  Fill the water tank and latch in place. Make sure you hear the “Click” Sound. Press the Power button

Step 3: Fill milk to the appropriate level – 1 or 2 cups in the Brew-2-Go Mug. User can choose any kind of milk. (In the prototype version, the lower level of the bevel rim is 1 cup level). Latch the Brew-2-Go cup with a push and twist (Show in a diagram)

Step 4: Chose a POD. You can select any of our 4 flavors of Chai: Masala, Ginger, Cardamom or Classic. Or if you want to use your own blend, you can use our reusable POD to fill your blend.

Step 5: Load the POD in the POD Chamber.

Step 6: Select the appropriate cycle – Regular Chai or Strong Chai from the Menu Button and Press START.

The machine shows the message “Happy to brew your perfect cup” and your chai should be ready in ~4 mins.

Once the cycle is complete, there will be a chime with a message “Enjoy your Cup”.

Step 7: Release the Brew-to-Go cup with a twist. Gently rest the cup on the tray. You should see the POD hanging. With a gentle Tug, it should release. You can keep it in the Cup for extra strength or dispose it. If you are using a reusable POD, dispose of the contents and clean it by hand or in a dishwasher.

Step 8: Wipe the Nozzle with a wet wipe/cloth/or wet Kitchen towel

Step 9: Enjoy your Chai – in the brew-2-go cup by putting the lid on or pouring it into another chai cup.

Post-Prep Instructions:

  1. We recommend running a Steri-clean cycle at the end of a Chai Cycle. Attach an empty Brew-2-Go Cup and select the Seri-clean cycle and press the start button.
  2. Every alternate day, the nozzle should be put in the dishwasher for a deeper clean.

Note: we should put a cycle counter in the software that recommends putting the nozzle in dishwasher after a certain number of cycles.
